Language Exchange?

Here in the Cobb Adult Ed ESL Program, we have students from over 70 different countries, speaking over 20 different languages!!  Unfortunately, a number of our students have very little exposure to English in the workplace or at home.  If you would like to learn or practice a foreign language in exchange for allowing one of our students to do the same in English, please feel free to contact me via this blog!

Welcome

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Doris as our new student services clerk!! She has already proven to be an excellent worker and we looking forward to working with her for many years to come. I would also like to welcome the budding partnerships we are working on in the ESL department!

Slowly but surely...

...the 2011 fiscal year is showing marginal signs of increased enrollment and higher retention in our ESL program. With our International Literacy Day coming up on September 1st, we hope that the added awareness will lead to even more students served.
